Built by people who fitted the system first
HYDRONYLON started on the roof, not in an office. Between 2018 and 2020 our founders worked for a UK arm of the manufacturer Proof-Tech, fitting the HYDRONYLON system, surveying roofs and pricing jobs across London. When that operation wound down in 2020, the experience stayed. We set up our own roofing work in the UK and kept using the system, because it did the job and the clients were happy.
That working relationship with the manufacturer grew. In 2024 we founded HYDRONYLON LTD as the official British distributor of the HYDRONYLON system manufactured in Europe.
The system
HYDRONYLON is a liquid-applied waterproofing system for flat roofs. It is applied cold, with no torch and no flame, built up in layers with a reinforcing mesh into one seamless membrane. It goes straight over the existing roof, whether felt, metal, concrete or PVC, with no stripping. It is water-based and low-odour, so it can be used on occupied buildings. The complete system is certified to ETA-23/0735 and carries a 10-year product guarantee.

The best waterproofing system is only as good as the hands that apply it. That is why we don't just sell the product and walk away. Anyone can buy HYDRONYLON, but contractors who join our Approved Contractor programme get more: trade pricing, a 10-year product guarantee they can put in front of their own clients, on-site training and our name behind their work. You deal with us directly, founders included.
