Roof Care
A free flat roof condition inspection
Flat roofs rarely fail overnight. They fail quietly, at the laps, upstands and outlets, until the first leak arrives at the worst possible time. A HYDRONYLON® Roof Care inspection tells you exactly where your roof stands, in writing, before it costs you money. Free, and without obligation.
The inspection
What you receive
- A visual inspection of the roof by our technical team, carried out from safe access points
- A written condition report with a photo and video record, defects and any corrosion marked directly on the images
- An element-by-element assessment: field surface, laps and seams, upstands, flashings, penetrations, outlets and drainage
- An outline specification of any works the roof needs, and a clear recommended action
The report
What the report looks like
No vague verdicts. Every element of the roof is rated, every defect is numbered, photographed and marked on the image, and the report closes with an outline specification of what the roof needs. You keep the report either way.

The company
Why HYDRONYLON
- A British company supplying a European-certified liquid-applied waterproofing system (ETA-23/0735)
- Refurbishment first: where suitable, the existing roof is overlaid rather than stripped, cutting cost, waste and disruption
- Installation exclusively by HYDRONYLON Approved Contractors, supported by a 10-year product guarantee
- One point of contact from inspection to completed roof
After the report
If the roof needs work
If the report finds work is needed, you set the pace. When you are ready, a HYDRONYLON Approved Contractor installs the liquid-applied waterproofing system to the specification: the roof is cleaned and prepared, details are reinforced, and the system is applied as a seamless layer over the existing covering. The installation is supported by a 10-year product guarantee.

Roof Care Plan
An annual plan for roofs that matter
For portfolios and buildings where the roof cannot be left to chance, HYDRONYLON Roof Care is available as an annual plan: a scheduled inspection every year, an updated report, and a roof that stays on a planned footing instead of a reactive one. Ask us when you book your inspection.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is the inspection really free?
Yes. There is no charge and no obligation, and the report is yours to keep whatever you decide.
Do you need access inside the building?
Usually not. We need safe access to the roof itself, and we agree the route with you when booking.
Which buildings do you cover?
Flat and low-pitched roofs across London: blocks of flats, offices, industrial units, schools and community buildings.
What happens after the report?
Nothing, unless you want it to. If works are needed, the report includes an outline specification, and we can introduce a HYDRONYLON Approved Contractor to price the work. The decision and the pace stay with you.
Can the report support a Section 20 consultation?
For managing agents, yes. A documented condition survey with a clear specification is exactly what the consultation process expects. Responsibility for the consultation itself remains with you and your advisers.
We already have a roofing contractor.
Keep them. The inspection and the specification stand on their own, and any competent contractor can price against them.

The inspection is a visual, non-intrusive assessment carried out from safe access points. The report records visible condition and is provided as planning support; it is not a warranty of the condition or performance of the roof. There is no charge and no obligation.
